Teaching at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine course.

I was delighted to teach on the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine course “Understanding Pharmacoepidemiology and Real World Studies” on 15 October. It was very well attended. The delegates, who are highly experienced in clinical research and development, were enthusiastic about learning about how Real World Data contribute to the whole lifecycle of medicines. They learnt about the principles, strengths and weaknesses of real world studies, study methods and how to understand and critique Real World Evidence. Many thank to the delegates for their wonderful contributions and for the FPM for arranging the course. Best wishes Saad Professor Saad Shakir Consultant Pharmacovigilance Physician and Pharmacoepidemiologist ADROITVIGILANCE saad.shakir@btinternet.com
